Thanks for visiting Green Plug’s “What’s Under Your Desk?” Photo Sweepstakes.
We’re looking for examples of a problem that plagues each and every one of us. Yes, that unsightly tangle of wires, black bricks and wall warts that supply your computer, printer, phone, desk lamp…and who knows what else.
This sweepstakes is simple. Look under your desk and take a snap of what you find there. Send it to us at [email protected] and we’ll post it. Be sure to write a suitable caption for your picture! Or mail us your entry at the address in the official rules.

We’ll randomly select the winners on Earth Day 2008, April 22. (EXTENDED TO MAY 1, 2008)
First prize is lunch in Beverly Hills with “green advocates” Christopher Knight and Adrianne Curry, co-hosts of the VH-1 reality show, “My Fair Brady.” The second place winner will receive a $500 gift certificate to Wal-Mart, while Green Plug will make a $250 donation to the third place winner’s favorite green nonprofit organization. Your tangle of inefficient cords and cables could be worth the chance to make a real difference this Earth Day. See official rules for prize details.
Subscribe to our feed and keep connected to the Green Plug movement. We’re the first grassroots movement for green tech in Silicon Valley!
Also, don’t forget to sign our consumer petition appealing to Washington for a universal Green power standard.

You're doing the drawing on April 21st, but the "official deadline" for entries is May 1st?! Hmmm. I'll bet the odds of winning are reduced by a bit if you don't submit an entry until Earth Day.

A $500 gift card to Wal-Mart is second prize? That's not very green considering Wal Mart's history of violating water quality standards when building its stores. If one were truly concerned about the environment, I'm wiling to bet they'd rather win third prize.

awesome product, but walmart and adrianne curry? can't you find a green retailer and a non-racist celeb?
